Are you looking for reactive dog training? Does your dog bark, growl, or lunge at people, dogs, or other animals?
Are you embarrassed, ashamed, or frustrated at their behaviour?
Do you worry things are getting worse? Do you dread walks? Perhaps you've resorted to going out in the dead of night or before first light.
Or maybe you've abandoned walks altogether and feel guilty
I can help..
I will show you how to change their current behaviour and begin to fulfil that dream you had of peaceful walks with your pooch.

• Separation anxiety
• Destructive behaviour in the home
• Hypervigilance or inability to relax
• Fear of new environments, objects, noises, or visitors
My approach focuses on understanding the cause of their issue and how to overcome it.
If your dog is struggling with anxiety, destructivity, or stress-related behaviour, I can help you understand what’s really going on — and show you how to change it.

Small dog, big trouble?
Is your new pup much harder work than you anticipated?
Does the adorable bundle of fluff you brought home, turn into a demon several times a day?
Does it feel like you're continually cleaning up after toileting "accidents"?
New owners contact me regularly, worried that they've made a terrible mistake, convinced they've brought home an untrainable or aggressive puppy.
If you feel that way, rest assured you haven't.
You just need a bit of help and guidance and I'm here to provide it.
.
Guarding breed, gundog, herding dog, or terrier, a working breed dog's natural drives and instincts can create challenges.
But knowing how to channel those drives and instincts can make them brilliant pets. You may have a reactive German Shepherd, a traffic chasing Border Collie, a Spaniel that just follows its nose and pays no attention to you. I can teach you and them how to live together harmoniously.
Rescue dogs in particular often arrive with:
• Unknown histories
• Lack of structure
• Learned survival behaviours
• High levels of stress hormones
With the right guidance, patience and structure, even very anxious dogs can learn to feel calmer and more secure.

My aim isn't just to train your dog for you.
My objective is to train you to teach your dog in an effective and rewarding manner.
Whether you need help teaching your dog the basics or to modify a problem behaviour the ultimate goal is for you both to be happy.
I will work with you and your dog to achieve the training or behaviour changes you want..
The approach I take is the same whether dealing with an aggressive older dog, a nervous puppy or an energetic adolescent.
It's about strengthening the bond that you have with your dog, teaching them that responding to you is rewarding, providing them with appropriate outlets for their instincts and energy, letting them know what you want them to do and rewarding them when they get it right.
When dealing with dogs with behavioural issues I follow a four stage process.
INVESTIGATE
We will discuss your dog’s current behaviour, what you'd like them to be able to do and what you want to change. I will observe your dog and talk to you about their usual routine.
EXPLAIN
I’ll help you understand why your dog is doing what they’re doing, how to teach them to do something, what motivates them and how to change any unwanted behaviours
DEMONSTRATE
I’ll show you techniques to effectively train your dog, how to teach them new behaviours and the changes to make to eliminate unwanted behaviour.
TRAIN
I’ll support and coach you, as you work with your dog, to teach what you want them to learn and to overcome any issues you face.
